With a Uf value of 1.6 W/m²K and the potential to achieve a Uw value as low as 1.0 W/m²K with triple glazing, aluplast systems contribute significantly to reducing heating and cooling costs.

In practical applications, the system has demonstrated the ability to increase NatHERS ratings by up to 1.3 stars. For instance, a case study involving a development of 10 townhouses showed an average increase in energy rating from 5.8 to 6.9 stars when switching from standard aluminium windows to aluplast uPVC windows. Further enhancements, such as improved insulation, elevated the average rating to 7.5 stars, exceeding the new 7-star minimum requirement for new homes under the NCC 2022 standards.
